Health financing in time of crisis - BFF Banking Group
News & Media
This meeting will seek to debate two aspects: how to face increased spending on health generated by the pandemic and how such expenditure can be carried out more efficiently in a context of economic crisis and where cuts in funding are a possibility. Towards this end, the need to secure a minimum threshold on spending for a set of pre-determined health services is proposed, in order to guarantee a more encompassing financing model for the system. These roundtables will gather, among others, the Health and Finance Councilors of the Autonomous Communities, representatives of the Finance and Health Ministries, Senators and Members of Parliament that integrate the committees on Finance and Health and representatives of the private healthcare sector.
