Alessia Barrera
Director, Group Communications & Institutional Relations
Alessia Barrera joined BFF Banking Group in 2018 as Group Communication & Institutional Relations Director. She is also board member of Fast Forward Foundation.
She has over 20 years of experience in Corporate Communications for companies operating in Finance and Banking. Before joining BFF, she spent 7 years at Banca Sistema as Communications and Marketing Director. Alessia worked at the Italian Stock Exchange, part of the London Stock Exchange Group (2008-2009), and held a similar role in MTS Group, the European electronic fixed income trading market (2006-2008). She began her career at Tamoil, part of Oilinvest Group.
She holds a BA in Politics and International Studies from the Nottingham Trent University. She also studied at Stanford University, Graduate School of Business, and at the Centre for Corporate Affairs and Reputation, Said Business School, University of Oxford, as part of executive education programs.
